Sales tax invoice questions
Do I charge sales tax on services?
It depends on the state. Many states tax only goods, while some also tax certain services. Check your state’s department of revenue for the rules where your customer is.
What does Net 30 mean on an invoice?
Net 30 means the full amount is due within 30 days of the invoice date. Net 15 and Net 60 work the same way with 15 and 60 days.
