GST/HST invoice questions

Do I need to charge GST/HST as a small supplier?

If your taxable sales are $30,000 or less over four consecutive calendar quarters, you are a small supplier and do not have to register. Once registered, you must charge GST/HST.

Which province’s tax rate do I use?

Use the rate for the province where the supply is made, which is usually where your customer receives the goods or services.
