Questions people ask

Is this invoice generator really free?

Yes. Every feature is free, with no limits on the number of invoices, no watermark on the PDF and no paid plan.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Open the page and start typing. Your business details are remembered in your browser, so you never have to sign in.

Where is my invoice data stored?

Only in your browser’s local storage on this device. The PDF is created on your device too, so your invoice details are never uploaded to a server. Clearing your browser data deletes the saved draft.

Can I make invoices on my phone?

Yes. The generator works in any modern mobile browser. Tap Share to send the PDF through WhatsApp, email or any other app on your phone. You can also add it to your home screen and use it offline.

Which currencies and taxes are supported?

Every currency your browser knows, formatted the local way (for example ₹1,23,456.00 or 1.234,56 €). You can add GST, VAT, sales tax or any named tax, either per item or on the total, and split Indian GST into CGST and SGST.

Is a PDF invoice legally valid?

In most countries, yes, as long as it contains the details your tax authority requires, such as a unique number, date, both parties’ details and the tax charged. Some countries also require structured e-invoices for certain business-to-business sales, so check your local rules.

How should I number my invoices?

Use a unique number that follows on from the last one, such as INV-0001, INV-0002. When you start a new invoice here, the number goes up by one automatically.
